Pumpkin Fruit Leather

Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 8 hours

Ingredients

  • 1 cups Organic Pumpkin Puree
  • 1 cups Organic Apple Sauce
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon Spice
  • 2 tbsp Organic Honey

Instructions

  1. In a high speed blender or bowl, add pumpkin puree, apple sauce, cinnamon and honey, then mix until smooth.

  2. Use a spatula to spread the mixture evenly on teflex lined dehydrator tray. Aim for the thickness to be 1/8 - 1/4 inch.

  3. Dehydrate at 135° for 8 hours. Then allow the fruit leather to cool down down after the dehydration process has completed. (You can let this run overnight to allow plenty cooling time).

  4. Use a pizza slicer, kitchen shears or a sharp knife to cut into strips.

  5. Cut parchment paper in the same size as the fruit leather strips. Lay the fruit leather on the parchment paper and roll inward, and then tie with baking twine.
