Dehydrated Pears Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 Pears
  • 1 cup Lemon juice
  • 4 cups Water

Instructions

  1. Wash pears.

  2. Peel the skin off of each pear.

  3. Cut pears into 1/4 inch thick slices with a knife or mandolin slicer. Then cut pear slices in half with a sharp knife. And be sure to remove the seeds.

  4. Add 1 cup of lemon juice to 4 cups of water. Then soak pear slices in mixture for 10 - 15 minutes.

  5. Lay each pear slice out, evenly spaced, on a food dehydrator tray.

  6. Dehydrate at 135°F for 8 - 12 hours until slices are pliable.
